Shiites Across Nigeria Hold Peaceful Protests After Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Death
Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) took to the streets in Lagos, Kano, Gombe, Bauchi, Kaduna, Sokoto, Yobe and other states to protest the reported killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in recent U.S.–Israeli strikes. The demonstrations remained largely peaceful, with marchers carrying placards, Iranian flags and slogans of solidarity. 📍🇳🇬
