Nigeria’s fuel market has recorded another sharp price
Nigeria’s fuel market has recorded another sharp price increase as the Dangote Petroleum Refinery revises its depot prices again — the 4th adjustment since March 2.
According to reports, the refinery has officially informed marketers of the new fuel rates:
⛽ Petrol: ₦1,175 per litre (up from ₦995)
⛽ Diesel: ₦1,620 per litre (up from ₦1,430)
The latest increase is expected to affect pump prices nationwide, as filling stations adjust their rates in response to the new depot pricing.
Many Nigerians fear the change could lead to higher transport fares, rising food prices, and increased cost of living in the coming days.
📍 Citizens and motorists across the country are now closely watching how filling stations and marketers will respond to the new pricing from Aliko Dangote’s refinery.
