Israel Declares Iran’s Future Supreme Leader a “Target for Elimination”

Israel’s Defence Minister has warned that whoever is chosen to succeed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as Iran’s next Supreme Leader will be an unequivocal target for elimination, saying it doesn’t matter “what his name is or where he hides.” The announcement comes as tensions escalate following Khamenei’s reported death and the Assembly of Experts prepares to choose his successor.
