2027: INEC May Not Deliver Perfect Election Yet – Amupitan

Senior lawyer Afe Babalola Amupitan has stated that Nigeria’s electoral system may still face challenges ahead of the 2027 Nigerian general election.

According to Amupitan, the Independent National Electoral Commission may not be able to achieve a completely perfect election for now, citing ongoing structural and operational issues within the electoral process.

He emphasized that while improvements have been made in recent years, more reforms are still needed to strengthen transparency and credibility in Nigeria’s elections.
