DUBAI POLICE ARREST “BEGGAR”WHO OWNS 3 LUXURY CARS

Authorities in Dubai have arrested a man accused of begging on the streets while secretly owning three luxury vehicles.

Police say the suspect collected large amounts of money from the public by pretending to be poor, then allegedly left the area in expensive cars.

The arrest happened during the Ramadan anti-begging campaign launched by the Dubai Police to stop people from exploiting charity and generosity.

Officials warned residents that begging is illegal in the United Arab Emirates and urged the public to donate only through official charities
